Rachelle "Shelly" Milstein holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and an A.B. from the University of Michigan Honors College. She is admitted to the State and Federal bar of New Jersey, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Milstein held a state trial level judicial clerkship. Following her clerkship, Ms. Milstein embarked upon a career as a trial attorney. In that capacity, Ms. Milstein was responsible for all aspects of various types of litigation for well-respected New Jersey law firms for over a decade. Ms. Milstein has engaged in extensive client counseling, and has fully litigated numerous cases from pre-litigation stages through trial and appeal.
In the course of her professional endeavors as a litigator, Ms. Milstein began to handle an increasing number of special education matters. For the last several years, Ms. Milstein has maintained her own law practice dedicated to the counseling and representation of children with special educational needs and their families throughout the state of New Jersey.
Ms. Milstein and her husband have three children, two of whom have special educational needs.
