Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch provides not only the best hospitality in the West, but a superior venue for bringing out the best in you. Family adventures in horseback riding, fishing, swimming, hiking, horseshoes and lots of fun active entertainment such as line dancing, karaoke and frog racing!
In addition, Greenhorn Creek Guest Ranch offers a unique therapeutic modality called Equine Guided Education (EGE). Offered to groups for team building, enhancing leadership skills and communication as well as acknowledging legitimacy and integrity in decision making; EGE is a beneficial program for all ages.
At Greenhorn Ranch, we offer programs for 1 - 50 including horseback riding and other recreational activities, lodging and meals (we can accommodate most all dietary requirements). We have over 600 acres for hiking and playing, physical fitness and western activities. A staff of 40 in our peak season is attentive to all your recreation needs and we will tailor a program for specific group requests including incentive trips, recreational trips, reward retreats and therapeutic applications. For the latter, we will partner with specialists to provide the desired outcomes.
EGE is not riding or horsemanship. Sessions involve ground activities with humans and horses involving processing of non-verbal communication, creative decision making and problem solving.
