The Clinic for Adult Attention Problems, P.A., is a specialty clinic for adults, children, adolescents, and their families who struggle with ADD/ADHD related symptoms, academic or occupational underachievement, learning difficulties, anxiety, depression, social isolation, or marital distress.

Dr. Tim Butcher has 20 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults with ADD/ADHD and related disorders. He is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides solution-focused, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), coaching, and time management training. He also works closely with Dr. Carlos Hernandez, the psychiatrist on site, to help ensure patients conveniently receive the multidisciplinary care they often need.

The clinic offers comprehensive testing for assessment of possible learning disorders and provides documentation necesssary to establish the need for academic accommodations in public schools, in college or graduate school, and on admissions tests (e.g., SAT-2, ACT, GRE, MCAT, LSAT) or licensing board examinations (e.g., State Bar Exam, USMLE, CPA exam, etc.).
