The Vanguard School serves the needs of students with learning disabilities, dyslexia, attention deficit disorder, and other learning problems. The school provides a safe and secure but appropriately demanding and structured environment in which students who have been unsuccessful in regular school programs are able to learn and achieve. Academic, social, and personal development is enhanced by a nurturing environment that enables students to develop to their fullest through a five-level system of positive reinforcement. Students from over 20 states and 20 foreign countries have access to three dormitories, three classroom buildings, a full gym, physical fitness center, library/media center, pool, and cafeteria.
