How will an education consultant help you?
Our staff offers educational planning for public and private placement, intervention for at-risk students, advocacy for students with special needs, advising for summer programs, boarding school selection, day school options, relocation advising, assistance to student and parent for college placement, and consultation for the selection of vocational training, interim programs, and independent living opportunities.

For the at-risk population, our role is to gather as much relevant information as possible about a child and then plan for educational, therapeutic and, sometimes, behavioral interventions appropriate to the child's and family's needs, goals and desires. We travel constantly throughout the U.S. and, abroad, visiting and evaluating schools and programs. Our consultants keep current with program offerings, staff changes and population mix at hundreds of facilities. Bodin Associates routinely follow-up with our families and the children we have placed, to better understand elements such as communication, efficacy of treatment, emotional safety, etc.

We can serve as an advocate for you and your special needs student during the IEP evaluation and planning process. We help identify and prioritize your student's needs and explore options that best serve your student. We can help improve the total learning situation for your child.
