Behavioral - Psychological Assessment and Behavioral Intervention
Southern Pennsylvania

Behavioral Support for Family and Community, P.C. was established in Southern Pennsylvania to provide psychological services specializing in behavioral assessment and intervention for young children as well as for their families. We work with children who are autistic, have Aspergers or other PDD's and children who may have ADD or ADHD or other learning disorders. We also work with their families to help them work best and most effectively with their children.

Children with emotional disorders or with identified developmental disabilities often exhibit behaviors that inhibit their ability to learn or to assimilate into classroom environments. The BSFC offers an array of services and supports to identify the functions of these behaviors and to teach the children alternative behaviors that are more useful and acceptable in meeting their educational needs. We use methods such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach children play skills on the floor or on the playground with other children.

BSFC, PC provides:

  • Behavioral Consultation
  • Psychological Assessment
  • Behavioral Assessment
  • Parent and Caregiver Training
  • School Consultation Services
