Offering testing for learning disabilities anywhere in Virginia Atlantic Counseling & Testing (ACT)provides testing for learning disabilities, giftedness, vocational interest, and ADHD at your home, school or office anywhere in Virginia. ACT also conducts Myers-Briggs testing and seminars and provides consultation for businesses and schools. The cost of testing is very reasonable, and the ACT web site provides further information about pricing. After a careful assessment, if test results indicate the presence of a learning disability or attention deficit and the individual is not already in a school with an educational therapy program, the child will be referred to a program or independent educational therapist, if one is available in the area. Other types of referrals may also be made if indicated. Even if a child does not enroll in a therapy program, test reports may be useful for determining eligibility for services in school systems or to determine the need for special accommodations.
